This song is influenced by hardcore and post hardcore bands...the song itself is about protests from many years ago and how the protesters felt.

They felt alone, abandoned and had no path to follow that was deemed appropriate by the masses so they took to the streets to voice their concerns over issues that needed addressing.

I also wanted to show how everything is not always black and white, that's what the lyrics in the first part of the song are about.
